By using ContractPilot, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
ContractPilot is a SaaS platform for AI-powered legal document generation, digital signatures, and document management. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
2. Not Legal Advice
IMPORTANT: Documents generated by ContractPilot are AI-generated templates and do not constitute legal advice. We strongly recommend having all legal documents reviewed by a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction before execution. ContractPilot and Zhost Consulting Private Limited accept no liability for the legal adequacy of generated documents.
3. Electronic Signatures
Electronic signatures captured through ContractPilot are legally binding in India under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and in many international jurisdictions. By signing a document, the signatory acknowledges they have read and agreed to its terms.
4. Acceptable Use
- You may use ContractPilot only for lawful purposes
- You may not use the platform to generate fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive documents
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide
- You must have authorization to bind your organization
5. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Each organization account is for the use of that organization only.
6. Subscription & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Razorpay. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are at our discretion. Trial plans are limited to 3 document sends and do not require payment.
7. Data Ownership
You own all documents and data you create on ContractPilot. We do not claim any ownership over your documents. We may use aggregated, anonymized data for platform improvements.
8. Limitation of Liability
ContractPilot and Zhost Consulting Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Service Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
